I have really been in the mood. Made one for another forum + did a few random ones just messing with different options and trying to learn.

I think I finally found a sig size that I like as well.

The first one is really great. Maybe if it wasn't so centered but do you see what happens when you use a bigger canvas :). I also suggest maybe erasing some of the purple going off to the sides in the first one, it would look better imo. The other two have issues with colors so work on that.

I like your style, the distortion effects are pretty cool, you should make a tut on it I'd love to learn it. But yeah if the first one wasn't so centered it's be really amazing and the second one's colors are a little bit weird.

Yeah. I dislike all of the colors on it but I probably learned the most on that. Basically it was testing selective color levels and what I could do with them. I have never done a tutorial before so I dunno about that but I am doing more. I am just in the mood :X

Thanks Savior. I have a really hard time with coloring honestly but I think I am going to try and figure something out.

Third one is my favorite because the stock is the clearest and the flow is great. Colors are a little bland though, maybe lower the opacity on the gradient map (if it's a gradient map) and add in some of the stocks natural colors, and then some complementary colors. On the first one I would move the stock of center, as everyone else said, and erase some effects off the stock. Second has pretty good colors imo, but I would erase some effects off the stock here too, and maybe erase some effects in other areas in the sig, because it's a little chaotic.

Overall very good work, I can see real improvement.

Hahahhahah
Is that a Zakum I see?!?!?! :P

Anyway,
First one is a strange size (being too big).
Second one feels a little too crowded IMO.
Third one I really like. You have a good size going here and a good depth. It is like you took out the mistakes of the first 2 and fixed it in your third. I also like the style you have.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I am trying to keep them in mind when I make more and slowly ill be able to do all this slightly better. Every time I try to do one with more colors, like the vash, it ends up turning out really weird. I want to work on it because I enjoy color much more then the kind of blandness.

Oh and yeah that is definitely Zakum johnny <3 XD

New ones good, I would still erase some effects from the stock, right now it's a little like a floating torso. The color's that your using are fine, it's just that you need to expand your palette. Use several colors and varying hues of them, instead of one or two. Here's a good site to help you learn a little about color theory: http://www.colormatt...olortheory.html

Keep up the good work!

I'll read through that. I think this will be the last one of today unless I find a render I really like.

you seriously made a zakum sig? XD. anywho, your effects are good, but a little too random. if you could get them to flow more your sigs would be a lot better. but I see with each sig you're doing better, anyway, so yeah. just clean up on the effects and stuff

I like the third one, but I think you need to brighten up the highlights a little bit, a little bit of bright yellow , and if you want to add any other color (though I kinda like it this way), I reccomened soft brushing that color, then gaussain blur it till it has no defined shape, then mess with the blending mode.

For spiderman, if you have a wireframe render (preferrably with dark planes and the light lines, course if you have the opposite, hit ctrl i), you might want to try playing with that, sort stick it in so it's not overlapping the reds, but is sort of in between them. Set it to darken, make a new layer on top of that, get a dark blue color, or a gradient with dark blue and maybe some dark red or purple, set that to lighten and hit ctrl g. That's what I would try.

I like the colors on the vash one. But on that one, and the halo one, more than the others, like DZDX said, the effects are a little random, when you put your effects in, erase parts you don't like, turn them around flip them, shrink them distort them, their yours, use them, see how you can arrange them to make a good composition with good depth and flow.

Keep it up! (you should enter sotw, 'course you'll need to learn the pen tool for this week if you don't already know it, but that shouldn't be too much of a problem)

I understand the pent tool but I lack creativity in that department usually xD

Thanks CP. I'll remember some of those suggestions and I might try to do what you said with the spiderman one.

From the first 3 you posted I thought the Ryu one had the best flow.
You can sharpen it, then grab a soft brush and set it to clear and erase the sharpened stuff in the background. And add a light source. It will bring up your focal point and put the distortion effects in the background.

I am working on my flow as well. =p
